Albert Alvarado
Professor Albert is the Head Instructor and owner of Caique Jiu Jitsu Walnut Academy. For 6 years he was the head instructor at Total Zen Walnut. He is one of the main instructors at Caique Jiu-Jitsu Academy. For a while he ran the UCLA Jiu-Jitsu program for the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks under the Caique Jiu-Jitsu Academy.
Albert Alvarado is a Judo Brown Belt and 2nd Degree Black Belt under Master Caique Elias 7th degree Gracie Black Belt founder of Caique Jiu-Jitsu Academy and is the owner and founder of Caique Jiu-Jitsu Walnut. He began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 1995 and has over 15 years teaching experience. His strong desire and love of the Art drove him to begin teaching full time and ultimately opening his own Caique Affiliation to further spread the knowledge of the art and empower as many people as he can.
Professor Albert started his Jiu Jitsu journey in Torrance, California at the original Gracie Academy. Where he had the privilege to train with a multitude of legendary Gracie Family members, including Grand Master Helio Gracie and others such as Royce, Rorion, Rolker and many more and where he met Master Caique.
His mission and desire is to enrich the lives of as many who are willing to learn the skill, art & technique that Jiu-Jitsu has to offer. Professor Albert is confident that all students will achieve evident confidence that will be noticeable by all. You will be sure to gain the discipline and skills needed to master any situation.
When Professor Albert isn’t on the mat you can find him studying and fine tuning his lesson plans and teaching techniques. When he’s not focusing on Jiu-Jitsu you can find him checking out music by local bands and enjoying the soothing sounds of reggae.
